Have you got the home-schooling blues?

So, we are back in home-schooling mode again. Juggling work, taking time out to walk, cook dinner and stay calm. Don’t worry there are always solutions. Once we realise that we don’t have to do everything ourselves and we can delegate things to other people; we take the pressure off, trying to do everything for everyone and do everything at once. We can ask others to help. Ask Outside the Box Education that’s one of the services we offer.

What happens if we try to do everything? Instead of focusing on the things that matter; we often start the day with good intention but as the day progresses, we can get caught up in reacting to events as they arise – especially when the children are at home.

Why does this happen? People like routine because we like the certainty of knowing what we are doing on certain day, week, month or (if we are really organised), a year ahead. We are currently in a situation where; although we have been here before our 2nd National lockdown due to the Covid 19 pandemic the rules and restrictions change every day which can be tiring in itself.
