What is your Mindset?

Our Mindset is how we view our lives. It can be how we view a challenge, or whether or not we set ourselves goals.

We all have our own personal challenges. And whether we achieve them or not can be down to our mindset.

  • The Growth Mindset
  • The Fixed Mindset

Let us explain…

There are actually to types of Mindset. Which one are you?

The Growth Mindset – If we believe we can do something – its’ probably true!

  • People with a growth mindset, often believe that they can learn anything they want to, with hard work and determination
  • People with a growth mindset, often believe that with perseverance they will succeed!
  • People with a growth mindset, often thrive when faced with a challenge
  • People with a growth mindset, often believe that failure is necessary to learn and develop
  • People with a growth mindset, often view a fail, as a SUCCESS, that they have NOT YET achieved!
  • People with a growth mindset, like to be told that, they try hard; as they can always see the next goal or vision ahead
  • People with a growth mindset, often view other people’s success as an inspiration or motivation to them
  • People with a growth mindset, believe that their effort, attitude towards a situation determines the outcome!

The Fixed Mindset – If we believe we can’t, do something – its’ probably true!

  • People with a fixed mindset, often believe that if they fail something, they will never be able to achieve it in the future
  • People with a fixed mindset, often feel that if they are frustrated about something – they will give up!
  • People with fixed mindset, often do not like a challenge
  • People with a fixed mindset, often believe that if they are not good at something – then, they are not good at anything! (which of course is not true!)
  • People with a fixed mindset, like to be told they are smart! (this can mean, they believe that they don’t have to try hard, or keep going; because they are smart! – so it may stop fixed mindset people pushing on to achieve more)
  • People with a fixed mindset, often feel threatened by other people’s success
  • People with a fixed mindset, often believe that the situation that they are born into, or the grades that they achieved at school can never be improved!
  • People with a fixed mindset, often believe, they are too old to change things now!

So, what we say to ourselves, and what we believe really DOES MATTER.
